چکیده

The method of transfer functions is developed as a tool for studying Bell inequalities, alternative quantum theories and the associated physical properties of quantum systems. Non-negative probabilities for transfer functions result in Bell-type inequalities. The method is used to show that all realistic Lorentz-invariant quantum theories, which give unique results and have no preferred frame, can be ruled out on the grounds that they lead to weak backward causality. 98 March 15, QMW TH 98-10 To be submitted to Physics Letters A

Quantum Measurement Breaks Lorentz Symmetry

Traditionally causes come before effects, but according to modern physics things aren't that simple. Special relativity shows that 'before' and 'after' are relative , and quantum measurement is even more subtle. Since the nonlocality of Bell's theorem, it has been known that quantum measurement has an uneasy relation with special relativity, described by Shimony as 'peaceful coexistence'. Hardy...

Relativistic Physics in Complex Minkowski Space, Nonlocality, Aether Model and Quantum Physics

Many naturally occurring phenomena require theoretical treatment utilizing complex analysis by methods such as the Cauchy-Riemann relations using hyper-geometrical spaces which treat inherently nonlinear, non-dispersive, collective nonlocal resonant states of a quantum system, so as to be consistent with the nonlinearity inherent in General Relativity. Typical quantum approaches form linear app...

Gravitation and Nonlocality

Einstein’s general theory of relativity [1] is a successful classical theory of gravitation inasmuch as it agrees with all experimental data available at present [2]. To develop a microphysical gravitation theory, it may prove useful to investigate the extent to which the basic physical tenets of general relativity conform with the fundamental principles of the quantum theory. This is the gener...

General relativity and quantum mechanics are conflicting theories. The seeds of discord are the fundamental principles on which these theories are grounded. General relativity, on one hand, is based on the equivalence principle, whose strong version establishes the local equivalence between gravitation and inertia. Quantum mechanics, on the other hand, is fundamentally based on the uncertainty ...

0 Quantum Theory within the Framework of General Relativity . A Local Approach

A local conception (in the sense of the equivalence principle) is proposed to reconcile quantum theory with general relativity, which allows one to avoid some difficulties — as e.g. vacuum catastrophe — of the global approach. All nonlocal aspects of quantum theory, such as EPR paradox, remain intact.
